Inspired by Sami, I've been playing with photographs. Here's a heavily modified image from yesterday evening. This moody shot of my favorite rocks leading off Lincoln Shields Recreation Area passed through many manipulations.
To begin it was taken with a 24mm tilt-shift lens tilted about the vertical plane and restricting the area in focus to the central part of the image. Then it was processed using the CLEAR settings in Canon's own Digital Photo Professional software to boost the saturation and contrast. The image was then passed to PTLens to remove some chromatic aberration and correct distortion. From there to the Filter Forge Freepack 3 "Frames" software to provide the grungy black border. Finally to Gimp to scale the image and provide some drop shadow.
