We know how to have fun in our lab.

Today was chapati making day.

As I had been sick for a couple of days, I had no idea this was happening until a bowl, whole wheat flour and a spoonful of olive oil were energetically kneaded by Ruma as I sipped my coffee at the other end of the table.

After a little while Rati took over, pulling and stretching.

Then the dough was shaped into a number of small balls and dusted with flour.The chapatis were ready to be flattened and partially cooked in an electric pita maker.Sho removed the flat chapati and handed it to Ruma for grilling in the toaster over. See how the chapati balloons as it is cooked.Then onto a plate to cool down and eat with some meatballs.Delicious!
