I was too busy to get down the park at lunchtime today, but I took time out on the way home to see how it looked.

The sun was sinking into a heavy bank of cloud through a much thinner gauze. Consequently, the light was quite different than that of the bright blue skies I saw last week and the week before.

There was just enough to catch the yellow-green of this delightful tree and to cast shadows on one the wooden footbridges that pass through the wetlands.Another mark of the incremental creep into autumn, but still a lot of life to be seen. No sign of winter yet!
