I took this during my drive back from Chicago this afternoon. I had not noticed wind farms before on my Chicago journeys – they must be a fairly new development. This was just off Highway 136 near a tiny village called Lucas, not too far from Springfield.
They are so stately and poised. I love to gaze at them as they spin, and, with a stiff wind today, they were moving fast.
Now I feel very tired and a bit under the weather. Definitely time for bed.
Take care, get lots of rest. Good night.
Thank you, Carol & Star. I overslept, woke up with a sore throat and a sore back, so I just stayed in bed today and called in sick. I'm glad I did. 🙂
The only windmill farm I've ever seen was in Southern California back in the mid-'80's, near Indio. I was totally fascinated. Had no idea such things existed until then.Sorry you're feeling under the weather, Richard. Hope you feel lots better really soon.
Hope you are feeling better now.
😉 Have plenty of rest SIr Richard.. 😉
Much recovered and back to work. Thank you Carol & Leazz. 🙂
That's good to hear Sir Richard, we need you to slay the dragons and join our party for Lady Carol @ The Castle. 😉
Glad you are back on keel (LOL) Richard. And I hope you were able to get some great pizza in Chicago.
Thank you, Edward, yes, much better. Unfortunately no pizza, it was a flying visit! 🙂
You are welcome Richard. 🙂

Definitely time to leave the bat cave, Claudette! 🙂 Thanks for your compliments and for stopping by.
