House Approves Landmark Bill to Extend Health Care to Millions

I have waited for this moment from the time I first moved here, all the way back in 1980. Although the bill is most unlikely to significantly change our own personal health insurance situation and we have a while to wait before my son can take advantage of the extension of coverage of children through their parent's insurance to the age of 26 – if he needs to, and who knows what the economy will be like when he's that much older.

Still, there is a visceral and tangible sense of a millstone lifting from my shoulders. It's wonderful!
