Wow! It looks like that around our zoo. Found out they are Starlings and are becoming a nuisance because they eat the grain and seeds for the zoo birds.

We see Starlings flock like this in the fall when they start migrating. Never this late in the year. I love Starlings because I had one as a pet for about 12 years. He talked and was just a joy. Very busy, spirited, mischievous little bird.
Yes, Susan's husband used to be married to my ex's sister so the connection goes way back. It is a small world. :)I've never heard of a starling as a pet, Linda. Very interesting.
