A fine Thanksgiving this year, but a little somber as my wife's aunt died on Monday last, not unexpectedly. She was a very sweet lady who viewed life as a blessing.
I felt her presence at the meal, along with those of my brother-in-law's parents who have also left us in years past.
So, a tinge of sadness amongst the good food and pleasant company.
God bless her soul and place her with the angels.
I, too, felt the presence of those missing, both living and long passed. A bittersweet gathering.Wonderful photo, Richard.Happy Thanksgiving.
Great shot, Richard. Kinda looks like a Leica shot — although I know you carry a Canon! :up:And pleased to hear that your TD went well.
…more than a thousand words that photo.
Nice mood and light in that photo – underlining your words perfectly.
Nice. The photo is reminiscent of the 50's.
Thanks very much for all your comments, prayers and sympathies, Stardancer, Leazz, Edward, San, Allan & Pam! :)I'm finally getting the sense, after using digital SLRs for over three years, that I am beginning to be able to photograph what my mind wants to see in a scene. It's been a long learning curve!
Would be nice to have this photo in an album so we could rate it…:star::star::star::star::star:
Wow..thanks, San. It's here. 🙂
God bless your auntie… :awww:Beautiful photo!
