In my mid twenties, I undertook to learn Coleridge's The Rime of the Ancient Mariner in its entirety, but never got much beyond verse 20! Now, courtesy of the University of Viriginia's online library, I can post it.

And, in tune with my attempts to learn it by heart, I'll put up one verse each successive day. 🙂

It is an ancient Mariner,
And he stoppeth one of three.
`By thy long beard and glittering eye,
Now wherefore stopp'st thou me ?
