Early Christmas morning, and I've already set my son up with Civilization IV and that will occupy him for the day – and the coming year!
In a short while my wife, our friend Susan, and I will trek off to Calvary Cemetary, resting place of General William Tecumseh Sherman, Dred Scott, and Tennessee Williams, to look for a statue that Susan is trying to locate. My son, deeply affected by the recent Doctor Who episode, Blink, will probably stay home. With Civilization IV to occupy him, I think that maybe will become a definite. I, too, will be looking out for weeping angels.
Then it will be home for a pre-Victorian roast beef traditional Christmas dinner.
