It's just as well I don't watch TV, or else I would perhaps not have avoided the gruesome video of Cho Seung-Hui's deranged madness. But enough of the images splashed across the newspaper websites for me to view them.
I wish I hadn't. Some things do not need to be seen. For all his insanity, Cho Seung-Hui knew well enough how to play the media for his final sick hoorah.
My thoughts exactly and now his words are being sent out as a message to the world on an endless news loop, exactly as he wanted.
Well g'day Richard. I think that with more, much more media interest that there will be copy cats. And in the same breath I think that a stock market update is needed!!!!!!!!!!! Instead of a moment for this horrible event to take root within this humanity. For some compassion of the victims and their family's etc.
It was arranged in a perfekt way and nobody react on the warning signs. I think this is really bad thing by this story.
yeah – the whole thing is kinda surreal – it's pretty frightening how the media has permeated our lives these days.
Personally I felt very sorry for the guy when I saw his madness displayed for the world. I cannot begin to imagine the black and lonely world he must have lived in.That said, I don´t think that video has contributed to anthing good in this world. Rather than looking at stuff like that, I would like the same amount of attention from the media when dealing with the conditions in Sudan for example. That´s important stuff.
I'm glad I haven't seen his video. There's enough violence in this world already, and this meaningless actions do not belong in our livingrooms! I feel sorry for the victims' families!
the media are stupid for displaying such hideous human actions… it will have a cause on future generations who want to copy cat him… 😦
